In times when nothing seems stable and under control, the Bible reminds us that the Lord will rule forever. And from November 16-18, Mary Willson Hannah, Wendy Stringer and Angie Velasquez Thornton will reveal the message of the Book of Exodus. In this book, we will see more clearly what it means when God says: "I am the Lord" (Ex. 6:7).
The conference will host two simultaneous pre-conferences on Thursday evening before the full conference begins on Friday and ends on Saturday.
The first pre-conference focuses on building an effective women's ministry in your local church, while the second pre-conference addresses two common fears that prevent people from receiving biblical care.
Consider joining us on retreat or as a church. We offer group prices. Email us at[email protected].

What is biblical forgiveness?
Andrea Thom
Forgiveness: Mentioning it can ignite anger, spark hope, or stir up memories we've struggled to bury. Injustice and conflict are inevitable evils that befall us all: they make us suffer pain and make decisions about mercy. Despite its familiarity, professional debates can be uncomfortable, contradictory, and lead to unclear understanding of what forgiveness is and how it is applied. What is biblical forgiveness? How does it differ from the therapeutic definition? Is it fair? Necessary? What if it doesn't seem to have worked? In this workshop, we will carefully use Scripture to uncover a lesser-known but biblical definition of forgiveness and begin to address some of the confusion surrounding its approach and application.
How to have hope when people sin against us
Ana Maria de Leeuw
In this talk, Anne-Marie will help you understand the dynamics of evangelical hope even when people sin against us. Come to this session to learn how the Bible teaches us to respond to those who sin against us.
How then should we die? Euthanasia and the Christian conscience.
Ewan Goligher
How and when we die is now a matter of choice, and an increasing number of Canadians are choosing to have their lives ended by a professional doctor or nurse, a practice known as euthanasia or medically assisted dying (MAiD). Christians traditionally oppose euthanasia, but may feel pressured to support the practice out of compassion and respect for autonomy. This discussion will draw from insights from general revelation and special revelation to shape our conscience as Christians and to explain and defend to others our conscientious commitment to the subject of euthanasia.
Our obedience and God's faithfulness
because of robinson
In this talk, Karena will help you understand the difficult doctrine of God's providence by turning to the Book of Exodus. Come to this session to understand how our obedience to God and God's providence can work in parallel.

What does the Bible say about LISTENING?
Wyatt Graham
As euthanasia becomes legal in Canada, we face enormous challenges. Friends and family have considered or will consider assisted dying. What does the Bible have to say about assisted dying? Does the Gospel offer hope to those who suffer incurable suffering in this life? Attend this session to gain biblical knowledge and theological understanding on the issue of HEADPHONES and the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The conference will be held at Morningstar Christian Fellowship in Scarborough, Ontario. It is close to hotels and restaurants and a short drive from Toronto Pearson Airport.
